Michael Lee Hass

Michael Lee Hass 54 of Bethlehem Township died peacefully after a decade long battle with renal disease on December 25, 2023. Born on June 11th, 1969 in Spirit Lake, Iowa he was a son of Thomas Hass and Linda & Charles Roberts and is survived by his children, Domineque Hass (29), Coleton Hass (28) and Haleigh Hass (11), his life partner of 15 years, Trisha Transue and siblings Michelle Gillespie, Jodie Liasko, Christine Miller, BJ Fread and Caroline Louck (deceased).

Mike graduated from Boy's Town, Omaha, NE.  While attending he was active in the fire and rescue program and served as a fire cadet advisor.  The relationships and lessons he learned there were a guiding force throughout his life.

He was a commercial truck driver by trade until disabled in 2012.  Mike enjoyed grilling and spending time with those he loved.  He will be remembered as a survivor, loving father and loyal friend.  His smile will be missed by those whose day he brightened.

Celebration of life services will be announced.  In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions in his memory to Boy's Town in Mike's honor.  https://www.boystown.org
