Michael Thomas Boyko 63, of Macungie, formerly of Whitehall, PA died February 5,2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Allentown, on October 11,1960 he was a son of Michael F. Boyko and the late Loretta A. (Richel) Boyko. Mike was a loving father of 2 children. Daughter Nicole wife of Shayne Dugan, of Florida 2 granddaughters, Finley and Kyleigh, Son, Michael Carl Boyko of Whitehall, PA, Brother David J. Boyko and wife Rosiane of Upper Milford Township. Many nieces and nephews and a special friend Janine Marlatt.
Michael was of the Catholic Faith. In his youth he was a member of the Allentown YMCA Swim Team. A member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #5 at St Timothy's Lutheran Church Allentown Order of the Arrow. Mike graduated from Salisbury High School Class of 1978. He participated in the soccer team as a halfback. He then went on to study Physics and Calculus at Moravian College. Later he earned certification as a Watercraft Mechanic from the Watercraft institute of America in Daytona, FL. He was a volunteer fire fighter and line officer at Station 15 Macungie Volunteer Fire Co. In the past he drove for Pitt Ohio, until he was employed at Mack Trucks Macungie Plant where he retired as a Final Truck Inspector.
