Luis E. Delgado

Luis E. Delgado, 80, of Allentown, passed away Saturday, August 7, at ManorCare ‑ West Allen, Allentown.  Born on April 28, 1941 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Emilio Delgado and the late Alicia Roman.

Luis had worked in various textile mills before retiring.  He was also an avid fan of the New York Mets.  He was of the Catholic faith.

Surviving are daughters Mairim Delgado and fiancé Gregory Picart of Allentown; sons William Delgado husband of Ruth Delgado of Bath and Millito Delgado of Allentown; sisters Myrta Delgado, Blanca Delgado, Olga Delgado, and Anna Delgado; ten grandchildren and eleven great‑grandchildren.

A memorial service for Luis will be held on Saturday, August 14 at 6:00pm at the Boyko Funeral Home, 855 Lehigh Street; Allentown, PA  18103.  Friends are invited to call from 4-6pm in the funeral home.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.boykofuneralhome.com.
