Jose Alberto Aponte, Jr.

Jose Alberto Aponte, Jr., 50, of Whitehall, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 25 in Allentown.  Born on April 16, 1971 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Jose Alberto Aponte and Carmen Iris Cotto.  He was the husband of Yelitza (Santiago Gonzalez) Aponte.

He had attended New Life Church, Allentown.  He was an avid gymnast and had a diploma in microcomputers.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Leishleanne Santiago; sons Joshua Aponte of Deltona, FL, and Jakob Aponte of Iowa; sister Marie Carmen Aponte of Orlando, FL; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.  He was predeceased by son Christian Aponte and brother Edgardo Aponte.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday evening, September 29 from 4-8pm in the Boyko Funeral Home, 855 Lehigh Street; Allentown, PA  18103.  Funeral service will follow at 8:00pm with Pastor Victor Rosa from New Life Church officiating.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.boykofuneralhome.com.
