Elbert Moore (Bert) Obituary

Elbert R. Moore (Bert), 80, of New Tripoli, passed away July 30, 2021 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was born in Twin Rocks, Pennsylvania. Son of the late Jay E. and Ruth (King) Moore. Survived by wife Jane of 58 years; Two Sisters Kathleen Lesser and Phyllis Schilling; Daughters Terri (Rocky) Niedermeyer and Cheryl (David) Ritter; Grandchildren Robert (Helen), Cody (Shannon), Casey, Ashlynn (Miguel); Two Step-Grandchildren and many Great Grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters: Ruth Lingenfelter, Mildred Smith and one brother Jay Moore.

Served in the U.S.Navy aboard the USS Springfield Carrier. Stationed in Ville France, he traveled the Mediterrean. Worked for Schaefer, Stroh and Pabst Brewing Company as an instrument technician. He enjoyed music and traveling.
